As a tribute to his friend the aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, Cartier created in 1904 one of the first wristwatches named SantEarlier Propeller which is in a way depicted in Cartiers nibos-Dumont. Throughout the years, its elegance, the audacity of its screws, and the modernity of its fine details have given rise to an authentic Maisoncollection, rooted in a great watchmakingmyth of excellence and timeless style. A style re-interpreted by Cartier with this exceptional pen which stages the highly symbolic universe of the aviator; solid gold screws which are riveted one by one to the streamlined fuselage, clip in the shape of a propeller and ogiveddome of cap, both plated with a fine layer of gold, pure gold nib engraved with a vibrant propeller for the fountain pen.This exceptional pen in limited edition of 1904 individually numbered pieces and whose body is entirely made of 925 sterling silver and precious materials, is dedicated to lovers of aviation, adventures and exceptional achievements.

  • Fountain pen nib in 18KT rhodium plated solid gold. with engraved yellow gold propeller, 2007, 750, 18K, Hallmark and Cartier signatureEngravings
  • 23 ornament screws on the cap and 36 on the body all in solid 9KT yellow gold
  • Forepart ring in stainless steel
  • Cap, body, forepart and intermediate ring in 925 sterling silver
  • Cartier signature on the cap upper ring and the clip Limited edition number on the cap upper ring (engraved 90°to the right of the clip)
